The liquid crystal antenna includes a first substrate and a second substrate opposite to each other; a liquid crystal layer between the first substrate and the second substrate; a first electrode on the first substrate and on a side of the first substrate facing the liquid crystal layer; a second electrode on the second substrate and on a side of the second substrate facing the liquid crystal layer, the second electrode being opposite to the first electrode; and a control circuit configured to output a first voltage signal to the first electrode and output a second voltage signal to the second electrode, wherein the first voltage signal is opposite in polarity to the second voltage signal.
