The timing controller generates the power control signal depending on a difference value between comparison data which is the maximum data transition value between adjacent pixel rows disposed in each of the plurality of active areas and edge comparison data which is the maximum data transition value between adjacent pixel rows disposed in the plurality of edge active areas. Thus, it is possible to improve an image quality at a boundary between the active areas.
