In an example from the perspective of a user equipment (UE), a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) is monitored with a first pattern during an active time of the UE if a first timer is running. The PDCCH is monitored with a second pattern during the active time of the UE if a second timer is running and/or if the UE is associated with the active time due to a first cause (e.g., the UE is in the active time due to the first cause).
