The apparatus may receive, from a base station, a first indication of a search space for monitoring for a channel for at least one of system information, paging, or user data. A first set of monitoring occasions based on the search space indicated by the base station. The apparatus may determine a second set of monitoring occasions different than the first set of monitoring occasions based on a condition experienced by the apparatus. The apparatus may monitor for the channel based on the second set of monitoring occasions determined by the apparatus.
