The communications protocol stack includes the higher layer and one or more lower layers being below the higher layer in the protocol stack. The method for composing a message at a higher layer of a communications protocol stack includes receiving information related to a dropped previous message from a lower layer, evaluating a relevancy of a content of the dropped previous message to obtain relevant content, and composing the message based on the relevant content of the dropped previous message.
