A method for performing a sidelink communication by a terminal is provided. The method includes sending, to a base station, a request for multiple grants for the sidelink communication and a first indicator indicating whether the terminal supports multiple transmissions of the sidelink communication to different destinations in a sidelink control (SC) period, receiving the multiple grants from the base station, and performing the multiple transmissions to the different destinations in the SC period.
