The driving circuit includes an edge and slope detector that detects an edge of the input image signal, and determines an angle between the edge and a virtual line parallel to a first direction, a weight calculator that determines a weight, based on the edge and the angle, and a rendering module that compensates for the input image signal, based on the weight, and outputs the output image signal. The weight is determined through an arithmetic operation between the edge and the angle.
