An electronic device is disclosed that includes a display, a communication circuitry, a first memory storing a native web application including a first resource, a second memory loaded with instructions included in the native web application, and a processor operatively connected with the display, the communication circuitry, the first memory, and the second memory. The processor is configured to transmit a request to identify whether the first resource is changed to an external electronic device, via the communication circuitry, when a specified condition is met, use the first resource in response to receiving a response that the first resource is not changed from the external electronic device or not responding to a connection to the external electronic device, receive a second resource replacing the first resource from the external electronic device, via the communication circuitry, in response to receiving a response that the first resource is changed from the external electronic device, and use the second resource.
