The image displayed on the display panel operating in the first mode is changed from a first image in which the number of pixels representing a low gray level among the plurality of pixels is equal to or greater than a first threshold value, to a second image in which the number of pixels representing a high gray level among the plurality of pixels is equal to or greater than a second threshold value.
