The display device may comprise: a power supply configured to generate power; an external input port, which can be connected to at least one external device; a display; and a processor configured to: acquire brightness information about the display, identify first power information required by the display based on the acquired brightness information, and adjust, based on the identified first power information and second power information provided from the power supply, power supplied to the external input port.
