In one example embodiment of the method, a wide-distance measuring system is used to measure the distance of an object and provide at least one wide measurement value, the wide-distance measuring system includes at least one microwave measuring system, and is further used to focus the camera lens, and at least one further measurement value is provided using at least one further measuring system.
