Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information indicating an uplink gap. The UE may transmit a reference signal in the uplink gap. The UE may perform at least one of a self-interference measurement or a beam pair calibration for full-duplex communication based at least in part on the reference signal.
