The systems, dressings, and methods relate to a dressing assembly that may include a dressing bolster, a comfort layer, and a polymeric enhancement layer. The dressing bolster may include foam and may have a first side and a second side. A first side of the comfort layer may be coupled to the second side of the dressing bolster, and a first side of the polymeric enhancement layer may be coupled to the second side of the comfort layer. An opposing second side of the polymeric enhancement layer may be configured to directly contact the tissue site. Other systems, dressings, apparatuses, and methods are disclosed.
