The electronic device includes a first housing defining an inner space, a second housing slidably coupled to the first housing, and the flexible display. The flexible display includes a protection layer, a display panel laminated on at least a portion of the protection layer, a first portion at least partially connected to the first housing and visible from an exterior of the electronic device when disposed in a retracted state, a second portion extending from the first portion and at least partially retracted into the inner space so as to be invisible from the exterior, and an extension extending from the display panel, the extension disposed in a region corresponding to the second portion, having a control circuit disposed thereon, and disposed to be supported by the protection layer.
