A method and apparatus for indication of resource ports in a communication system is disclosed, wherein a method performed by a first wireless communication node, includes: receiving at least one measurement resource from a second wireless communication node in a communication system; determining at least one overlapping resource between the at least one measurement resource and a first plurality of resource sets; and determining at least one muting resource set in the first plurality of resource sets, wherein the at least one muting resource set comprises the at least one overlapping resource.
