The present invention provides a polyester and a polyurethane each having, in the molecule, a structural unit represented by formula (I): (wherein, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5and R6, which are the same or different, each represent a hydrogen atom or lower alkyl, provided that at least one of R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 is lower alkyl), and being excellent in hydrolysis resistance.
