According to the invention, the first accommodation space (6) has a holder to accommodate the packaged data carrier (1), and the second accommodation space (8) is separated from the first accommodation space (6) by means of a removable covering (10), whereby the two accommodation spaces (6, 8) have essentially the same base area dimensions.
