A pneumatically actuated disc brake includes a caliper that straddles a brake disc, at least one brake application device, and at least one adjusting device, which is provided with an electromotive drive unit. The disc brake and a control method therefore are characterized by the fact that the at least one electromotively driven adjusting device is also used as a parking brake and/or emergency brake.
