The refrigerator includes a main body including at least one chamber; a container disposed in the chamber, the container being movable along a first direction and along a second direction; a door located on the main body, the container being moveable along the first direction by moving the door along the first direction; a motor, the container being movable along the second direction by the motor; and a battery electrically connected to the motor to supply power to the motor.
