The mobile filter assembly includes at least a first deployment leg assembly secured to the first end of the frame and at least a second deployment leg assembly secured to the second end of the frame. A force generator is associated with each deployment leg assembly and is configured to apply a force to the first leg and the second leg to move the second leg relative to the first leg, such that the first and second deployment leg assemblies are capable of cooperating to raise the filter assembly to a desired height above a surface on which the filter assembly is supported.
