Upon detection of activating of the mobile communication terminal, an information bar representing a user-preset initial information group is displayed on an idle mode screen. Upon detection of input of a first key for movement between information groups, another information group corresponding to the first key is displayed in the information bar. Upon detection of input of a second key for movement to a menu item, at least one menu item within the displayed information group is displayed in the information bar. Upon detection of input of a third key for information selection, a program corresponding to the third key is activated.
