A virtual package including the downloaded test subtitle is created, and it is determined whether to reproduce the downloaded test subtitle in the virtual package on the basis of a first register of the reproducing apparatus. The first register includes a value used for determining whether the reproducing apparatus is capable of reproducing the downloaded text subtitle stream.
