A telecommunications device is disclosed. The telecommunications device includes a crimp tool assembly for crimping a center conductor of a cable to a center conductive pin. The crimp tool assembly includes an insert assembly which includes an insert that is configured to receive at least two different types of coaxial center conductive pins for crimping. The insert may also be color coded for identifying the manufacturer of the insert, the center conductive pin, the cable, etc.
