The projection system includes an imaging unit mounted to a movable platform via a partially compliant mount structure, such that the imaging unit is partially isolated from the platform while projecting an image which is stable with respect to the platform. The imaging unit and partially compliant mounting structures are constructed and arranged to damp vibrational forces on the imaging unit.
