The terminal includes a processing unit for receiving operations relating to at least two communication processes of different radio communication systems, wherein each communication process includes a critical operation and one or more pre-requisite operations, and wherein a scheduling window defining a time window within which an operation is to be scheduled is defined for each operation. There is provided a shared medium for handling operations relating to the communication processes and a scheduler for scheduling the operations to the shared medium, the scheduler scheduling the operations such that the pre-requisite operations precede the critical operation of that communication process, and each pre-requisite operation is scheduled to its scheduling window.
