A carriage (1) which serves to hold a panel (4), in particular a glass panel, comprises at least one running element (12) such as a magnet (1200), a wheel (12) and/or a sliding element (120) which is held by at least one corresponding magnetic element (1201) or supported on a running surface (3111) of an at least approximately U-profile or L-profile-shaped rail (3). The rail comprises a central part (32) and one or two lateral parts (31a, 31b), possibly with a foot element (311), on the upper side of which the running surface (3111) is provided. The carriage (3111) comprises one or two carriage parts (1a, 1b; 1c) which can be anchored to the panel (4) by mounting elements (2; 114, 1140; 93, 111), such that the two carriage parts (1a and 1b) can be anchored on the opposing sides (4a, 4b) of the panel (4) in each case by the mounting elements (2; 114, 1140; 93, 111). A one carriage part (1c) is further contemplated, which can be introduced into a groove (45) arranged on the upper side of the panel (4) between the sides (4a, 4b) and anchored there by the mounting elements (2; 114a, 114b, 1140; 93, 111). Further provided is a carriage (1) and a mounting device (2) which can be coupled to the carriage (1) and to the glass panel (4), with two assembly parts (21a; 21b) which are each formed or mounted on one side (4a or 4b) on the upper side of the panel (4) or within a groove (44) of the panel (4).
