In one embodiment of the invention, a method of contextualized broadcast messaging for activity-centric collaborative computing can be provided. The method can include selecting an activity in an activity-centric collaborative computing environment, retrieving a listing of members associated with the selected activity, creating a broadcast message designating the members as recipients of the broadcast message, and issuing the broadcast message to the members.
