In this state, a driving signal is applied to the ink-jet head at a predetermined time interval, and a light source is made to emit light in multiples of the predetermined time interval. Liquid droplets which are jetted continuously in the form of beads from the nozzles by the driving signal are picked up, and bending in a direction of jetting and state of liquid droplets are observed. Accordingly, a liquid droplet jetting-inspection apparatus and a liquid droplet jetting-inspection method which are capable of detecting easily a defect which is caused due to a channel and a nozzle as well as an electrical structure and a drive element of a liquid droplet-jetting apparatus are provided.
