The method comprises detecting a security event associated with at least one surveillance video camera communicatively coupled to the broadcast video terminal device and requesting insertion of a surveillance entry associated with storage of a surveillance video of each of the at least one surveillance video camera into an electronic program guide that includes at least one broadcast entry.
