The cam includes first and second cam paths, with first cam path disposed between two sides of the second cam path. When the cam is in a first position, the distances between the first cam path and two sides of the second cam path are different. When the cam is in a second position, the distances between the first cam path and two sides of the second cam path are equal. The following roller drives the main linkage to pivot, with the clamping driven to clamp a rod or pipe. The plate unit is driven by the second cam path and reciprocates along the cam axially.
