An ink channel forming member, wherein a layer containing a diacetylene tetraol compound represented by General Formula 1 below is formed on the surface of a base material, and the layer inhibits adhesion of air bubbles thereto: (wherein R1 and R2 each independently represent an alkyl group of to 3 carbon atoms; —O-Et- represents an oxyethylene group; and k, l, m, and n each represent an integer from 0 to 2).
