According to the disclosed apparatuses and methods, a node sending a message to one or more recipient nodes is provided with the option to conceal its identity, or at least a portion of its addressing information, from at least one recipient of the message. In order to provide compliance with applicable protocols, the sender may be assigned a temporary identifier for the purpose of transmitting the message to the recipient.
