Said securing strip comprises at least one recess for securing the cover strip to the securing strip. The invention also relates to a furniture unit arrangement, in particular a kitchen range, comprising a plurality of furniture units, wherein at least one furniture unit comprises a niche, and at least one built-in appliance. The built-in appliance is built into the niche. The built-in appliance is connected to the furniture unit by means of the inventive connection system.
