On the other hand, a data relaying apparatus disposed on the preceding stage of a repository server retaining contents receives a content acquisition request transmitted from the client terminal to the repository server to extract URI information from the content acquisition request and transmits the URI information to the data relaying apparatus to acquire meta-information. The meta-information is added to contents transmitted to the client terminal before the contents are relayed.
