The user interface includes a playback window, a graphic control interface, and an icon pallet. In an embodiment, the graphic control interface and the icon palette are adapted to operate together to enable the user to manipulate a selectable plurality of graphically manipulable icons within the user interface window such that the items of digital content associated with each of the plurality of icons are aggregated and managed as a collective in response to the graphic control interface.
