This is assigned to an outlet side of the internal combustion engine. At least one regulating element for distributing an exhaust gas stream, and at least one regulating element for distributing a pre-compressed fresh air stream is provided. The air-gap insulated exhaust-carrying component has an outer chamber, through which a controllable stream of fresh air flows.
