The cathode catalyst layer is accompanied with a porous structure satisfying following conditions. 40%≦(V1/V0)≦70% wherein V0 represents a volume of pores having a diameter ranging from 3 nm to 10 μm, and V1 represents a volume of pores having a diameter ranging from 50 nm to 10 μm.
