A kinematic chain for an electric traction vehicle, the traction of the vehicle being provided by at least one rotating electric machine (3), acting on at least one wheel (2) of the vehicle by means of reduction means (5). The kinematic chain comprises a parking brake which acts between the rotor (9) and the stator of the electric machine.
