The present invention provides a phosphor for an ultraviolet excited light-emitting device, a phosphor paste and an ultraviolet excited light-emitting device. A phosphor for an ultraviolet excited light-emitting device, the phosphor comprising an oxide containing M1, M2 and M3 as a matrix and an activator, wherein M1 represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ba, Sr and Ca, M2 represents at least two elements selected from the group consisting of Ti, Zr and Hf, and M3 represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of Si and Ge.
