The green phosphor is a rare earth activated inorganic phosphor, and the red phosphor is a semiconductor particle phosphor. The minimum among respective differences between respective wavelengths at local minima of an absorption spectrum of the red phosphor and the peak wavelength of an emission spectrum of the green phosphor is not more than 25 nm. An image display including the semiconductor light emitting apparatus is also provided.
