Dishwasher detergents containing: a) 10 to 60 percent by weight of a builder; and b) non-ionic surfactant of the general formula R1O[CH2CH(CH3)O]x[CH2CH2O]y[CH2CH(CH3)O]zCH2CH(OH)R2 wherein R1 is a linear or branched aliphatic hydrocarbon radical having 4 to 22 carbon atoms or mixtures thereof, R2 is a linear or branched hydrocarbon radical having 2 to 26 carbon atoms or mixtures thereof, x and z represent values between 0 and 40, and y represents a value of at least 15; c) anionic copolymer comprising: i) unsaturated carboxylic acids, ii) sulfonic acid group-containing monomers, wherein the weight ratio of components c) to b) is less than 3:1. In addition to exhibiting good cleaning and rinsing efficiency, dishwasher detergents according to the invention enhance the drying process of the cleaned dishes.
