Each of the first sensing series is formed by first electrodes serially connected through first connecting lines in a first direction, and each of the second series is formed by second electrodes serially connected through second connecting lines in a second direction intersecting the first direction. The first electrodes and the second electrodes are electrically insulated from one another. Each of the first electrodes is separated from one of the second electrodes by a gap in a horizontal direction parallel to the first substrate. The compensating patterns are located inside the gaps.
