摘要：
The present invention aims to achieve a high display quality and cost saving while providing a dual function as a capacitive touch panel.A liquid crystal display unit 1 has a liquid crystal display cell 10; and a compensation cell 20, disposed opposite the liquid crystal display cell 11 to improve an optical characteristic of the liquid crystal display cell 10. The compensation cell has a transparent plate 21/22, and a transparent electrode group 28 for a capacitive touch panel. The transparent electrode group 28 is formed at the transparent plate 21/22 to allow the compensation cell 20 to function also as the touch panel.
