The receiving apparatus of the UWB wireless system includes an orthogonal channel generating unit for receiving a baseband signal to generate orthogonal channels, a boundary detecting unit for receiving output signals of the orthogonal channel generating unit to detect boundaries of preamble, header and payload signals, a phase tracking unit for tracking and compensating phases of the preamble, header and payload signals output from the boundary detecting units, and a demodulating unit for demodulating output signals of the boundary detecting unit and the phase tracking unit to output data bits.
