Engine-driven hydraulic pump for an aircraft, having a first and a second pump unit which each comprise an adjustable swash plate and a piston assembly coupled with said swash plate and driven by a pump shaft, a control device for adjusting the inclination of the swash plate and a drive shaft via which the hydraulic pump can be driven by an engine of the aircraft while generating hydraulic pressure at an outlet line, characterised in that the pump units are arranged in parallel and have a respective pump shaft, which pump shafts are coupled with the drive shaft by a gear unit.
