The touch panel monitor receives region specifying operation of specifying a position and a size of the extraction region as one type of the touch panel operation when an entire image of the input image is displayed on the display screen. In the region specifying operation, the position and the size of the extraction region are specified on the basis of a position at which the operation member touches the display screen and a period of time while the operation member is touching the display screen, or on the basis of an initial point and a terminal point of a movement locus of the operation member on the display screen, or on the basis of a plurality of positions at which the a plurality of operation members as the operation member touch the display screen.
