The multimedia content transmission system and the method thereof includes generating profile information about a user of a terminal in response to a transmission request for a multimedia content being inputted from the terminal, dividing the multimedia content corresponding to the transmission request into a plurality of media contents based on the profile information, and transmitting, to a corresponding virtual terminal of at least one virtual terminal related to the user, each of the media contents via a corresponding individual transmission network, in response to the transmission request.
