摘要：
The invention relates to a device and a method for handling rod-shaped elements on drilling gear. The safety is inter alia increased by a device and a method wherein rod-shaped elements are placed on a placement device in defined positions and under defined conditions, the rod-shaped elements are separated on the placement device while being monitored, their safe support on a gripper is checked and once the elements are handed over to an elevator this action is confirmed.
