From a set of pixels that comprises the image, a first subset of one or more pixels that are used in a raster representation of an element in the image, such as pixel values used to render the image, is identified. A first operation is performed in parallel for the respective one or more pixels in the first subset, such as by evaluating a batched first subset of pixels using stacked instruction for the first operation. The first operation comprises instructions for at least a first portion of a function for generating an image pixel value used to represent the element in the image.
