A receptacle (200) comprises a simplex body (202) with a front portion (208) and terminals (210). A rear housing (232) encloses female connectors (228) and a ground connector, (230) which are attached to corresponding terminals (214-216, 212). Insulation displacers (240) comprise conductive elements (242) to cut through insulation (221) on each side of the wires (220). Features of both waterproofing and insulation displacement are therefore combined.
